Having just completed my first half-marathon, I feel it’s fitting I should share my favorite running route in London with you all. As many of you probably know, the Thames River is one of the best areas to catch a glimpse of London’s best sights – from the London Eye to the Tower of London to the Millennium, London, and Tower Bridges, there are no shortages of things to see along the riverside.
The Thames River runs through the entire city of London, and you can make your own running route as long or as short as you want depending on your ability. The only thing to be weary of is that once you hit the Southbank, there can be a ton of tourists wandering aimlessly and somewhat blocking your path, especially on Saturdays. It can become a bit of a game of dodging through the tourists, but it’s worth it for all the amazing views you get of the city!
