The thought of mixing two different patterns into one outfit might seem like you’re about to commit a serious a fashion crime. However follow some simple rules and this is super chic look. The simpler the print the easier to mix. For example, black and white stripes can mix with pretty much anything. It’s better to match colours than to try and pair prints. If the colours of the prints tone then they’ll look good together. Layer on some solid colours to keep the mix match prints from looking too busy.

We saw Chloé using Liberty inspired prints and pretty ditsy florals at Loewe. You simply can’t go wrong with a sweet and feminine floral dress. Dress up a floral maxi dress with killer heels, while try with some Hermès Oran sandals for beachside chic. While the weather is still chilly you could team with a heeled ankle boot and a leather jacket. Invest well and this super spring floral piece will see you through the summer.

Of course everyone knows the importance of having an LBD at her disposal and it doesn’t hurt to have a red carpet gown as a back up plan. The classic shirt dress is useful for work or weekend, while a super smart business dress can empower and inspire greatness. A strappy shortie and a flowing maxi are suitcase essentials for resort glam. A sexy date night dress to make a jaw dropping entrance. Super cute jumper dresses will take you year round, whether with tights, over the knee boots or wedges. A flirty floral tea dress is perfect for girly lunches as well as Sunday strolls with the family. Lastly the perfect wedding guest dress is often overlooked. Delicate pastel shades are the perfect way to update your wardrobe for spring. These delicious candy-like colours are so pretty and feminine, it’s hard not to fall in love with them. Lovely lilacs, creamy custards, and pretty pinks can also compliment every skin tone. If a full pastel outfit is too girly for you, try adding ice cream coloured accessories instead. A beautiful mint green handbag or a pair of peachy perfect heels will add a subtle nod to the pastel trend.

5. Pencil skirts

The pencil skirt oozes a truly ageless elegance. The silhouette it creates is utterly feminine. Prada showcased a heavily 50s influenced collection where the pencil skirt is a staple. Although we saw them at Gucci, Max Mara and Fendi too. Worn most elegantly with a heel for ladylike glamour. However team a pencil dress with a raffia wedge for wonderful holiday look you’ll be wearing summer after summer.
